Animal Tracks focuses on different types of  animals and the evidence they leave behind for us to find. An hour long class, Animal Tracks begins with a discussion about how different animals walk and, as a result, what types of tracks they leave behind. Students are given the opportunity to make their own plaster casts of  wild animal tracks. After the casts are poured, students are led on a short hike to find actual tracks in the woods.

Students will leave with a basic knowledge of animal evidence and it's relevance to them.

...and with their plaster casts.
